Where is Coastal Tattoo Located?
Coastal Tattoo is a private tattoo studio in Bellingham, Washington, focused on creating thoughtfully designed, high-quality tattoos in a comfortable, professional environment. We’re a studio, not a walk-in shop, so appointments are usually required. Last minute appointments are accepted on a case by case basis as availability allows. CALL AHEAD!
We are located at 2522 Meridian Street,
Unit 102, Bellingham, Washington
What style of tattoos do you do?
We work across a range of tattoo styles, including fine line, illustrative, traditional, neo-traditional, blackwork, realism, and custom tattoos.
Every tattoo is designed around the individual piece, placement, and client rather than forcing an idea into a preset style.
If you’re not sure what style your idea falls into, send it anyway. We can help figure that out.
Do you accept walk ins?
Not usually. Prospective clients are welcome to swing by to chat with us about their idea and schedule consultations. If you are hoping to get tattooed TODAY- CALL AHEAD.
This allows us to give each client the time and attention their tattoo deserves, including design, consultation, setup, and the actual tattoo session.
How do I book a tattoo?
The best way to get started is through our booking/application form HERE.
Tell us what you’re thinking, where you want it, approximately how large you’re imagining it, and include any helpful reference images. The more information you give us, the easier it is for us to understand what you’re looking for.
We'll schedule a free consultation to go over your idea in detail, answer any questions you have and meet your artist. If its a good fit, we'll lock in a time to get your project started.
How much does it cost?
Tattoo pricing depends on the size, placement, detail, style, and amount of time required. Pieces are generally charged based on the amount of time needed to complete them.
If you’re looking for an estimate, schedule a consultation so we can go over your project in detail and give you the most accurate cost estimate.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your appointment.
Your deposit reserves your appointment time and goes toward the cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Life happens. We get it.
If you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Appointments moved with insufficient notice may require a new deposit.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
For larger pieces or tattoos in areas that require more exposure, wear clothing you don't mind getting ink on and consider bringing something that can be easily adjusted or removed without compromising your comfort.
Your comfort and privacy matter, so we'll help you figure out what works best for your tattoo placement.
